BLEED

As night attacks day, the sun is overthrown by the stars. At dusk as the oceans turn blood red, the palms stay still in the absence of breeze witnessing the most spectacular battle...

BLEED

The sky falls as it lets fall its arms
Falls to the raging nightfall dusky
The sun bleeds blood red scarlet
Spreading red onto the reeking sea

Against the backdrop of sodden palms
Still lost in the loss of thought and still
As winds of life were blown away
Such colours begot the ruthless kill

Skies and seas gone violent red
Such silence deathly only killed
by growls of waves lashing froth
Battering castles that no more thrilled

Star swept skies: high comrades come
Restoring order as they call upon
Promising moon and cool moonlight
Winds whisper hush, I bleed saffron

BEREAVED

To all those beautiful people that we have lost and to all those strong souls left behind, alone....

BEREAVED

And where are you going away,
dear sun?
Stop! Wait for me.
I am coming too.
Take me where ever it is that you like
As I am only walking towards you
If you go darkness alone would prevail.
Not me.
I would be lost, paralysed.
A last glimmer of a tired lamp
Burning in the agony of loss.
Bereaved.
A last glimmer of a feeble hope.
A last ditch stand.
A final puff of wind within.
A last fragment of soul.
Bereaved.
