BORDERS

From high up a mountain, a number of clouds are seen sprawled across with such careless beauty under the vastness of the undivided sky, floating along the mighty unbound winds.
When they rain, they rain...
God made no borders!

SIGHT

From atop the peaks
Truth of clouds and lands
borders none

WHITE LACE

WHITE LACE

"I lose a feather everyday.
Each day I set me free."
White dove with no peace within
Fall each day from the same tree!

Girl with a white lace, born a cloud-
an untamed mare on a wilderness vast.
Yet deliquesce down one grey day,
incapable of making any new past.

Who knows how much the beacon shone,
When dark they see the night!
Alone in the darkness, a baffled soul,
should she die without a fight?

She paints her feathers in her iridiscence
Each morn, to fool her heart.
Yet snow shall fall, shall fall and melt.
In time, she'll have to part.

Across the blue sky, in a stark white lace
She writes her calligraphy in her flight
With eyes on the ground she flies high up
Coating her tears with a paint of delight

Life is a giant book and each day is a story. White lace is such a book, the life of a girl born free as a wild cloud. Each day she falls, she looses something and each day she picks herself up, moves forward.
Sometimes we face a challenge that takes up many days, and at present, this white bird is not at peace.
To her surprise, so stuck is she on that issue, that she feels she cannot be free and happy as a cloud again. And now she is stuck up, incapable of letting go.

"Who knows how much the beacon shone,
When dark they see the night!"

This line talks about human behaviour. When upset, we do not think of how good the world was to us and focus on the bad alone.

"Alone in the darkness, a baffled soul,
should she die without a fight?"

In the 'darkness' of the issue bothering her, she feels alone and confused but she wonders should she just cease to fight? Should she cease to be herself?

Some problems can be dealt with once and for all. But so many are not so easy to deal with. One such issue she has come across. She realises it is a part of the story of her life. She decides to simply accept it, smile at it, and let her story continue.

Levitate

Often we look back and feel that life could have been different provided 'that one risk' was taken. Often our present becomes our comfort zone and slowly we get so used to being what we are that we become afraid to try anything unconventional.

Change is the only constant. This is the greatest truth that prevails universally.

That what does not change is inanimate and as far away from life as death itself.

So what is stopping us?

Destiny? Fate? Well, often unknowingly WE stop ourselves. Obscured by our day to day monotonous activities, often in our machine like existance, there is a fear of 'trying' or that of 'failing' which stops us from looking across what we see daily.

Come out from under the gray cloud and step into the sun. The choice is yours and yours alone. Choose to fly!

Levitate!

----------------------------------------
LEVITATE

Above my head a little cloud
around it is sunny bright
What silly sun! You have never won
For you spare my share of night!
What silly wind! You 'hop' not 'flow',
A poor shepherd you are,
You take them all to distant fields,
Yet left this one so far!

Above my head a little cloud
gray gloomy inglorious sad
upset uncessantly anxious to cease
so lingers, a habbit bad.

In gray I see in snow my marks
tread them all the same
If sun would dry or shine too bright
Clueless would I die in shame?

My companion for all these many years
Now I am old and just as gray
Hobble over those very steps in fear
What if you go away!

They came and away they went
Their footprints they left as marks
A silly little bird held onto earth
Could have been leading the larks!
