ARISE
To be raised on fields where stars shine plenty
And a warm warm sun shines luke
Such delights of the world surpass the glitter
A glitter true wise rebuke
And bequeath unto all such love for love
Not love for "lovely things"
And teach their begetting about awe and wonder
Serenading through summer and spring
For matters not the colour green of leaves
Or of clouds the colour white
But how the sun sets them both afire
In the setting light, delight.
Arise into a morning new
Then bequeath how to 'arise'
That the world is built on bricks of wonder,
Surprise is the best surprise.
